When you refer to Newport, you’re referring to a program that addresses the whole person through an integrated, evidence-based approach; communicates with you as a valued member of the care team; and provides multiple layers of accessibility that optimize access to care for your patients.

We’re dedicated to serving as a resource for physicians, as well as the young people and families they refer to us. Our mission is to help young people find sustainable recovery from behavioral health challenges, and we view our relationships with our referring healthcare providers as an essential part of that mission.

Our team works hand in hand with physicians and other healthcare providers so that your patients who come to us—whether they’re struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or another mental health diagnosis—experience an easy and supported process.

When you refer to Newport, you connect with an integrated team of medical and psychiatric professionals who can serve as a resource for your practice, hospital, or clinic. As part of our community, you also have access to CME courses, customized trainings for your organization or hospital, and virtual and in-person networking events.

For our referring physicians, we provide a dedicated Clinical Outreach Specialist to be your resource for any behavioral health questions or case management. At no cost, they will work diligently to help your patients find the best care for their situation, inside or outside of Newport’s network.

We provide a full continuum of care, including residential treatment centers and a full suite of outpatient programming. With locations nationwide and new programs continually in development across the country, we are able to quickly get patients into treatment, and shift them seamlessly between levels of care as needed.

We work with most major insurance companies, both in and out of network, to optimize access to care for families. Insurance companies are much more likely to provide coverage for behavioral healthcare when a program has been vetted and meets the highest standards of care. Newport’s innovative approach and dedication to excellence has been recognized with the Gold Seal of Approval® from the Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest healthcare accrediting body. Newport meets the Joint Commission’s rigorous performance guidelines for safety and quality across all individual programs.

The Newport Healthcare Center for Research and Innovation partners with a third-party academic institution, Drexel University’s Center for Family Intervention Science, to measure and publish our outcomes data, which consistently validates the success of our treatment. Despite the severity of the challenges young people face and the increasing acuity of their diagnoses, Newport’s treatment continues to yield significant improvements in depression, anxiety, and well-being.

Furthermore, the Newport Healthcare Center for Research and Innovation analyzes and publish our third party–reviewed outcomes data, which consistently shows that Newport’s treatment yields significant improvements in depression, anxiety, and well-being.
