  • Set you up for your next steps in school or your career?

You’ll find all of that and more at Newport. Our residential programs for ages 18–35 provide a full immersion experience, designed to support every aspect of your well-being.

We understand that reaching out can feel scary, so we’ll make sure you feel supported and comfortable all along the way. From our very first phone call, you’ll know you’re not alone, and we’ll help you find the program that’s right for you.

To start the admissions process, you can call us right now or you can fill out the form on this page, which goes directly to our admissions experts.

The form is completely confidential, and your information is protected. Once you submit the form, our team will review it and reach out to you to schedule a call.

Here’s how your Admissions Coordinator will support you on our first call:

  • Find out what you’re experiencing and how we can help
  • Explain how the process of accessing treatment works
  • Tell you more about Newport’s treatment options and locations
  • Talk about insurance coverage and how we work with your insurance
  • Discuss next steps, such as a full mental health assessment

After the call, you’ll have clear next steps and recommendations for treatment. And we’ll be here to guide you as you move forward in the process.

Find what’s right for you

Our residential treatment centers offer comfortable, home-like environments, providing the space, time, and support for processing, reflection, learning, and healing. Each client receives an individualized treatment plan, designed by our experts, that incorporates evidence-based clinical and experiential components, as part of a structured schedule of individual, group, and family therapy.

We offer flexible in-person and virtual outpatient programming, appropriate for step-down care following residential treatment, or for increased support when weekly therapy isn’t enough. You’ll work with a team of clinical experts, within a trusting circle of peers who understand what you’re experiencing. And you’ll gain tools to use right away in managing school, work, and other responsibilities.

Community and connection don’t have to end after treatment. Our robust Alumni Program provides numerous ways for both alumni and parents to connect online and in person, through tailored support groups, parent meetups, and quarterly gatherings. The Newport alumni app offers resources and makes communication easy and secure.

Many young adults who come to Newport share that this was the first time they felt seen, heard, and understood. A huge part of healing is knowing that you’re not alone.

In our programs, you’ll experience:

  • A peer group of other young adults with similar experiences and challenges
  • A safe, caring environment where you can be your authentic self
  • Compassionate experts dedicated to your growth and success, including psychiatrists, therapists, counselors, nurses, and more
  • Ongoing support and connection after treatment, through our Alumni Program

Do you express yourself best through creating or making music? Or do you feel most empowered when you’re taking on a physical challenge? Maybe you want to start a regular meditation practice?

At Newport Healthcare, we understand that each person processes emotions and finds healing in their own way. So you’ll experience many different therapeutic modalities along your journey, including:

  • Scientifically proven therapies, like CBT, DBT, and EMDR
  • Family therapy to strengthen your trust and communication with family
  • Art and music therapy
  • Outdoor adventure therapy—like hiking, ziplining, kayaking, and ropes courses
  • Mixed martial arts, onsite gyms, and movement classes
  • Yoga and mindfulness
  • Therapeutic film screenings and discussions

(Options vary at each location.)

As part of our whole-person approach, you’ll receive support to navigate day-to-day life with more confidence and clarity. In our Learning Lab, you’ll work with experienced instructors to build skills for living on your own, explore educational and career options, and tap into your talents and strengths.

For young adults who are just beginning college or are taking time away from school, we’ll help chart a course forward. Here are some of the ways we’ll support you in navigating an educational path:

  • Assistance to manage enrollment in high school or college courses
  • Options for GED and diploma completion
  • Help with college applications and admission
  • Support to strengthen focus, memory, and organization skills

When you leave Newport, you’ll have the tools you need to launch into a thriving life doing work you care about. That’s because treatment includes:

  • Career planning and research
  • Guidance on resume building and interviews
  • Support with financial planning and independent living skills
