How We Support Employers
Research shows that close to half of US employees are struggling at work due to their child’s mental health. Newport Healthcare supports HR departments and EAP administrators to guide employees in crisis to treatment and resources that provide sustainable recovery.

How Newport Can Help You
Do you have employees who often miss work or are distracted on the job because of their own or their child’s mental health challenges? The parents and young adults employed by your company may not know what is available to them through their EAP and other wellness benefits.
As an employer, you can help direct a young adult or worried working parent toward tangible resources. Newport Healthcare offers mental health treatment for teens and young adults, and we work with most major insurance companies, both in and out of network. The majority of young people in our care achieve long-term recovery, reducing the burden of further mental healthcare cost for employers and insurance companies.
Our Relationship With You
Newport can serve as a resource not only for individual employees who are in crisis, but also for your entire company or organization.
Support Network
We offer webinars, resources, and customized presentations for companies and organizations, providing prevention and education for your employees around mental health and treatment options. We’d love to attend your next health fair or wellness day.
Dedicated Outreach Team
Newport has a national team of more than 40 Clinical Outreach Specialists, available at no cost, to counsel and evaluate your employees in need of mental healthcare and refer them to the appropriate treatment option at one of our locations around the country.
Full Continuum of Care
With 50+ residential and outpatient programs nationwide and new locations continually in development across the country, we are able to quickly get clients into treatment, and shift them seamlessly between levels of care as needed.

Excellent Care That’s Also Affordable
Newport is in-network with many major insurance companies, and we are dedicated to helping families receive the care they need with the greatest possible coverage and lowest out-of-pocket costs.
Newport’s innovative approach and dedication to excellence has been recognized with the Gold Seal of Approval® from the Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest healthcare accrediting body.

Our approach heals the underlying trauma and attachment wounds that catalyze mental health and co-occurring disorders, leading to sustainable, long-term recovery. We know this not just from our outcomes data, but also because we see firsthand, every day, how young people change and grow during their time with us, building resilience, healthy coping tools, and new sense of purpose and meaning.
Staff : Client Ratio
We pride ourselves on maintaining industry-leading staff-to-client ratios. Clients are surrounded by dedicated care teams that include psychiatrist, therapists, doctors and nurse practitioners, and academic teachers. Referring providers are an essential part of the care team.

Academics/Life Skills
Our robust academic and life skills programming is designed to support executive functioning, motivation, and engagement. As our clients’ well-being increases, their joy in learning returns as well. We ensure that the young people in our care continue to progress toward their educational and career goals, and are set up for success in their next steps.

Integrated Approach
Our integrated, whole-person approach encompasses a wide variety of clinical, experiential, and academic modalities. We address every aspect of a young person’s well-being—psychological, physical, emotional, relational, and educational—building their resilience and self-regulation so they are equipped to navigate the unique challenges of their life stage.

Family as Key
Newport’s differentiated clinical model views family as central to long-term, sustainable healing. The groundbreaking Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT) methodology is a central component of our approach, and is proven to successfully address youth suicidality by repairing ruptures in the parent-child relationship. Our clinicians receive ongoing training and consultation from ABFT’s co-founders.

Healing Environments
Trauma-informed care encompasses the environment in which treatment takes place. That’s why our locations are in beautiful settings, with art and music studios, gyms, and peaceful spaces for yoga and meditation. Our classrooms are outfitted with the latest technology, and our culinary staff create nutritious meals using organic, locally sourced ingredients.

“When I first discovered Newport, I knew this was a place I would send my own child. I feel so privileged to witness young people and families finding joy and healing.”
