Newport Institute changed my life, I went to the Cerro Vista house at the lowest point in my life and I was immediately surrounded by staff that made me feel cared for and protected. It was a safe environment where I was able to learn how to cope with my trauma and deal with life’s struggles in a non self destructive way. The therapists, the care coordinators, the counselor, the dietician, every single staff member there made me feel like there was hope and they all helped pave the way for me to still be here today and not just surviving but truly living and chasing after dreams
