Keith Thompson brings to Newport nearly 20 years of experience as a corporate lawyer specializing in mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities, and general corporate governance. Before joining the Newport team in early 2022, he served for five years as the Deputy General Counsel for Acadia Healthcare. Prior to that, Keith was Senior Vice President and General Counsel for naviHealth, Inc. He also spent nine years at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, LLP, in Nashville, rising from associate to partner during his tenure there. Keith chooses to work in the mental healthcare field because, he says, “Each day, we have an opportunity to change lives for the better.”
