Leading Mental Health Treatment Center for Young Adults, Newport Institute, Launches Website to Expand Reach to Young Adults Nationally

Newport Institute, a series of mental health treatment programs for young adults ages 18-28, today announces the launch of their new website dedicated to providing information about mental health and available treatment options.

Newport Institute, a Newport Healthcare service, opened its doors earlier this year with locations in the Greater Seattle Area, San Francisco Bay Area, Greater Los Angeles Area, and will open additional locations later in the year. Newport Institute offers immersive, primary mental health services for young adults struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression and suicidality, and who may have co-occurring substance use or eating disorders.

Newport Institute is designed to help young adults heal from trauma, become independent and take a healthy next step forward in their lives. As such, the programs combine individualized clinical therapy, psychiatry, and family therapy with holistic offerings including mindfulness, meditation, art therapy, yoga therapy, and the highest standard of nutrition. Clients also spend time in learning labs for academic and career assessments and counseling, college courses, and resume-building instruction, with additional training covering financial independence, relapse prevention, and goal setting.

“Young adults today face unprecedented challenges and research has shown we are experiencing a steady increase in rates of suicide, depression, and anxiety among the 18-27-year-old age group,” said Joe Procopio, CEO of Newport Healthcare. “Newport Institute is a leader in evidence-based healing and we are excited to launch this new website which will provide resources, information, and treatment options for those who need it the most.”

Newport Institute’s new site will include information about the various mental health conditions afflicting young adults today, engaging blog posts, information about the distinct programs that Newport Institute offers like residential treatment programs, Partial Hospitalization and Outpatient Programs (PHP/IOP), as well as resources and information for interested clients including insurance options, applications, and more.
