Crafting Purpose and Values Through ACT

Virtual Event

July 18, 2025 @ 9:00 am 10:30 am PDT

Learn how to use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients in identifying and aligning with their core values, in order to create a more abundant, meaningful life. We’ll begin with an overview of the six core processes of ACT, with a particular focus on values and committed actions. Then you’ll be guided to complete a personal “values sort” activity, and we’ll explore practical applications for this work.

Throughout the webinar, attendees are invited to ask questions and share their personal experience with the content. The goal of this workshop is for attendees to feel empowered to guide their patients through the values sort activity and subsequent committed action planning.

After attending this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Define and create specific committed actions for identified values
  • Identify and define the six core processes of ACT
  • Describe the difference between values and goals

CE credits available for psychologists*, therapists*, counselors*, and social workers*. Please email event.support@newporthealthcare.com for continuing education details.
